3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. cooking oil
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. cold water

Mix this in sheet cake pan. Sift dry ingredients together in pan. Add oil, vinegar, and vanilla together and pour into dry ingredients. Pour cold water over and mix well with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/2 stick butter
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 sq. chocolate or 3 tsp. cocoa

Melt butter over low heat. Add 2 1/2 tablespoons milk with chocolate and sugar and add enough confectioners sugar to make a good spreading consistency.
