GREEK BUTTER COOKIES | |
1 lb. sweet butter 1 c. sifted confectioners' sugar 2 egg yolks 1 shot Scotch 4 1/2 c. sifted flour Melt butter and add to rest of ingredients. Mix well and form dough into 1-inch balls, then shape into crescents. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. (They'll look white but test to see if cooked.) Let cool and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Makes about 2 dozen. |
