WATER CHESTNUT APPETIZERS 
2 cans whole water chestnuts
1 lb. bacon, cut through the middle
1 c. ketchup
1 jar baby strained peaches (or apricots)
4 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Wrap each water chestnut in 1/2 slice of bacon. Secure with toothpick. Place on baking sheet, preferably on a rack. Bake 1/2 hour at 350 degrees. Drain and discard fat. Combine sauce ingredients in bowl. Dip each appetizer in sauce. May be made immediately before serving, bake 1/2 hour more. Makes 40-50 appetizers.
