1 box yellow butter cake mix
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 stick butter
3/4 box 10X sugar
Nuts, butterscotch or chocolate chips, if desired

Mix cake with 1 egg and melted butter. Press in bottom of oblong baking dish. Combine cream cheese, 3 eggs, sugar, nuts, etc. Blend well with mixer. Pour on top of cake mix. Bake 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Check to see if browning too fast and reduce heat to 300 degrees for another 30 minutes. Cook 1 hour in all. Cool and cut in squares.
