RED CABBAGE 
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 c. apple cider
4 c. red cabbage, shredded
1 tsp. caraway seeds (opt.)

Place brown sugar, butter, onion and cider in 2 1/2 quart casserole. Microwave high (100%) 45 seconds, or until butter is melted. Add cabbage, stir and cover. Microwave high (100%) 5 minutes. Add caraway. Let stand 2 minutes. Serves 4.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
