MIXTURE FOR JERKY | |
1 qt. water 4 tbsp. mustard 1/2 bottle Worcestershire sauce 1/2 bottle soy sauce 1/2 box brown sugar 1 tsp. red pepper 1 tsp. chili powder 1 c. oil 1/2 c. vinegar 1/4 c. salt 2 tbsp. liquid smoke Black pepper to taste while cooking 1. Cut meat in strips. 2. Boil to tender it some. 3. Drain meat. 4. Soak in mixture for 8 to 10 hours or overnight. (I do it in refrigerator.) 5. Take meat out of mixture and drain. Put on grill and smoke until meat is dried out. (Use this method for deer and beef.) |
