HOMEMADE BEEF JERKY | |
1 1/2 of beef brisket 1 tsp. seasoned salt 1 tsp. liquid smoke 1/2 tsp. black pepper 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. Accent 1 tsp. onion powder 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 c. soy sauce Trim all fat you can from the brisket. Semi-freeze and slice into thin strips, with the grain. Combine all other ingredients and marinate meat overnight in refrigerator. Cover bottom of oven with tin foil and lay strips of meat on oven racks. Set oven at 150 degrees, place fork in door to keep it open less than an inch. Bake 4 to 6 hours. To store place in glass jars with lids tight. Will keep 6 months in refrigerator. |
