COCOA SYRUP 
1 c. cocoa
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. hot water
Dash of salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix cocoa, sugar and salt together in a saucepan. Add sufficient water to make a paste, then add the rest of the water. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly for 3 minutes. Add vanilla. Place in a jar when cold. Place in refrigerator. Makes 2 cups syrup.
