COCOA SYRUP 
3/4 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. sugar
Dash of salt
1 c. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine cocoa, sugar and salt in saucepan; gradually stir in water until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue to cook and stir for 3 minutes. Remove and add vanilla. Pour into container and cool. Cover and refrigerate. Use to prepare cold drinks or serve as topping for ice cream or desserts.
