MILLIE'S APPLE BUTTER 
1 shopping bag of apples
16 c. of apple pulp
8 c. of sugar
4 tsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. allspice

Do not peel apples, core and slice them. Add just enough water to cook until they are soft. Press through a sieve and measure 16 cups of pulp. Should make about 10 pints.

Combine all ingredients in a large pot and cook until mixture is a smooth mass. Takes about a 1/2 hour of boiling time. Stir frequently to prevent burning. Fill clean jars with mixture and cover with lids.
