BLUEBERRY - APPLE BUTTER 
6-8 lbs. apples
4 c. sugar
8 c. blueberries
1 tbsp. ground allspice

Slice the apples. Add enough water to barely cover. Cook until soft. Press through a sieve or food mill. Measure the pulp so that you have 8 cups of pulp. Mix the apple pulp with the blueberries, sugar and allspice. Cook this mixture on low in a heavy kettle until mixture is thick and smooth. ladle into hot sterile containers. Process 10 minutes in a boiling water bath.
