CAKE:

2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sweet milk
1 tbsp. butter

FROSTING:

1/3 c. butter
2/3 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. cream
Nutmeats (optional)
Coconut (optional)

Beat eggs, add sugar. Beat again. Add dry ingredients and vanilla. Heat milk and butter together on stove (do not boil). Add milk mixture to the rest. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Put frosting on cake while cake is still warm, put back in oven until frosting bubbles.
