Lazy Daisy Cake - Recipe

LAZY DAISY CAKE

4 eggs, beat until light
2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. flour

Add 1 cup boiling milk with 1 tablespoon melted butter

Mix and pour in "ungreased" oblong cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Lower temperature for last 15 minutes.

TOPPING FOR CAKE:

2 c. coconut
10 tbsp. brown sugar
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. milk

Combine and place on very low heat to mix.

Spread lightly on baked cake and place under broiler until golden brown.
