WHOLE WHEAT ANGEL BISCUITS | |
4 c. whole wheat flour 1 c. plain flour 1 c. vegetable oil (Mazola) 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tbsp. baking powder 1/4 c. sugar 2 pkg. yeast 2 c. buttermilk Mix all ingredients together in large bowl. Dissolve 2 packages yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Add buttermilk. Mix well with dry ingredients. Cover and put in refrigerator. Pinch off as much as needed each day. This will keep a week. No need to let rise. You can bake immediately at 400-450 degrees for 15 minutes. |
