PUMPKIN PIE 
2 9" pie shells, unbaked
1 can pumpkin
2 c. sugar
2 c. milk
1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. butter, melted
4 eggs, separated (use whites for meringue)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
Sprinkle of salt

Sift flour; add sugar, salt and spices. Add enough milk to wet dry ingredients. Add egg yolks, pumpkin, butter, and rest of milk. Pour mixture into pie shells. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour, until filling is set. Let cool and top with meringue. Brown meringue at 400 degrees.
