STUFFED CABBAGE ROLLS 
12 lg. cabbage leaves
1 1/4 lbs. ground beef
2 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. cooked rice
1 onion, chopped
1 egg
1/2 tsp. thyme
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Cover cabbage leaves with boiling water. Let stand until limp. Drain. Combine next 7 ingredients. Place equal portions of meat mixture in center of each leaf. Fold sides and roll up and fasten with a toothpick. Brown in hot oil in large skillet. Combine sugar, water and juice and mix with tomato sauce. Add to skillet. Simmer covered for 1 hour.
