PICKLED OKRA 
4 pts. okra
1 qt. vinegar
1/2 c. salt
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. dill seed
4 pods hot peppers
8 cloves garlic

Use small okra. Wash and cut off ends, but not into seed pod. Pack into jars; combine vinegar, salt, water and dill seed; bring to hard boil. Add 1 hot pepper and 2 cloves to each jar. Pour liquid over okra and seal. Makes about 4 pints.
