GERMAN SWEET AND SOUR BEANS 
2 sliced bacon, diced
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. fresh minced onion
1/2 c. bean liquid
1/4 c. vinegar
9 oz.pkg. frozen cut up green beans, cooked

Brown bacon until crisp. Remove from pan. Saute onion in bacon fat until onion turns yellow. Stir in flour. Add liquids and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Stir in beans. Heat thoroughly. Sprinkle with bacon before serving.
