SWEET AND SOUR GREEN BEANS 
6 pieces bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
1 sm. onion, chopped
2 cans French style green beans, drained
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

In bacon grease saute onion, then add green beans, stir and cook. Slowly add sugar and vinegar. Remove from heat and stir in crumbled bacon. Return to stove and simmer 20 minutes. Serves 6.
