CHOCOLATE MINT SQUARES 
CAKE LAYER:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (16 oz.) can Hershey's chocolate syrup

Mix together and put into a 9 x 13 inch greased baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool completely.

MINT LAYER:

2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. very soft butter
4 tbsp. creme de menthe

Mix ingredients and beat until smooth. Spread on cake.

ICING:

6 oz. chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

Melt together. Cool slightly and spread over mint layer. Cut into squares.
