RHUBARB BREAD | |
1 1/2 c. brown sugar 2/3 c. Wesson oil 1 egg 1 c. sour milk 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 c. rhubarb, cut up fine 1/2 c. nuts, chopped Combine as usual and pour into a greased and floured bread pan. Make the following topping and sprinkle on batter before baking: 1 tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. flour Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 60 minutes or tests done with toothpick. |
