FRITO SQUASH CASSEROLE | |
2 lb. fresh yellow squash (or 3 boxes frozen) 1 can cream of chicken mushroom soup 1 med. onion, chopped & diced 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. butter 1 sm. bag Fritos, crushed 1 c. grated cheese Cook squash with onions and sugar. Add soup (undiluted), salt and butter. Put 1/2 of squash mixture in 9 x 13 1/2 inch greased baking dish. Cover with crushed Fritos. Top with the rest of squash mixture. Top with mixture with 1 cup grated cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. |
