DAVE'S PHOENIX SALSA | |
3 (28 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes Cilantro (fresh, if available) 1 bunch green onions including tops 2 med. white onions (less if strong, more if mild) 2 med. green chiles (check them, the seeds make them warm) 6 med. garlic cloves 1 tsp. ground cumin Strain the stewed tomatoes to remove some of the extra water. Use a blender to blend all of the ingredients into a mulch. You may want to blend them in the blender, then mix them all together in a large bowl to get the ingredients evenly stirred up. It is ready to go but if you let it sit in the refrigerator overnight, it gets better with age. Don't worry about making so much, all of that garlic will kill all but the most tolerant little bugs so it will stay good for the better part of a month. |
