BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
3 eggs
4 c. flour
3/4 c. butter
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. packed brown sugar (or honey)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. undiluted orange juice
1 can drained crushed pineapple (squeeze juice from fruit)

Boxed cake mixes could be used.

TOPPING:

Layer 1: 1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese softened, with 1 package instant vanilla (dry) pudding mixed in.

Layer 2: Bananas (2 or 3).

Layer 3: Crushed pineapple.

Layer 4: Whipped cream (Cool Whip).

Layer 5: Halved cherries

Cream butter, sugar and egg. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternating with orange juice. Stir after each addition then add pineapple. Bake in greased and floured pan 10x14 inch, 350 degrees, 50-60 minutes or 375 degrees, 25-30 minutes. Remove from pan onto cookie sheet. When cooled, add toppings in layers.

1. Cream cheese/dry instant vanilla pudding mixture.

2. Bananas sliced lengthwise.

3. Lightly top with crushed pineapple.

4. Frost with Cool Whip or whipped cream.

6. Top with halved cherries.
