STICKY BUNS
2 c. scalded milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 pkg. dry yeast
6 c. flour

SYRUP:

3 tbsp. dark syrup
3 tbsp. water
2 1/4 c. brown sugar
6 tbsp. butter

Prepare the dough by allowing 1/2 cup of scalded milk to cool until lukewarm, then add 1 tsp. sugar and yeast. Let mixture stand until it froths to top of cup. Place the butter, sugar and salt in large bowl. Add remainder of hot milk, letting it stand until butter melts.

Add yeast mixture and flour. Mix. Cover with a clean towel and let stand in a warm place for one hour.

Prepare the syrup by placing the ingredients in a saucepan and heat until the mix boils. Pour in 3 (9 inch) greased pans.

Divide dough in 3 parts. Roll each one-fourth to one half inch thick. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and raisins. Roll each slice in 9 pieces. Place 9 in each pan. Let stand until twice in size, about 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Bake 375 degrees 20 minutes. Remove from pan immediately.
