FROZEN COLESLAW | |
1 med. head cabbage, chopped 1 or 2 carrots, grated 1 green pepper, chopped 1 tbsp. salt 1 sm. onion, chopped Mix cabbage and salt and let stand one hour. Squeeze out extra moisture. Add carrots, peppers and onion. While cabbage is standing, make dressing. 1 c. vinegar 1/4 c. water 1 tsp. whole mustard seed 1 tsp. celery seed 2 c. sugar Combine; boil one minute, then cool until lukewarm. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture. Put in containers. Cover and freeze. Leftovers may be frozen. |
