FROZEN COLE SLAW | |
1 medium head cabbage, shredded 1 green pepper, chopped fine 1 carrot, shredded Add 1 teaspoon salt to cabbage and let stand 1 hour; drain off liquid and add green pepper and carrots. Combine in saucepan: 1 cup vinegar, 1/4 cup water, 1 teaspoon mustard, 1 teaspoon celery seed, and 2 cups sugar. Boil 1 minutes. Cool and add to cole slaw and freeze. |
