CREAMED CABBAGE POTATO SOUP 
1 med. onion, chopped
1 sm. head cabbage, cut up
3 lg. potatoes, cubed

WHITE SAUCE:

4 tbsp. butter
2 c. milk
4 tbsp. flour
Salt & pepper

Add water to almost cover vegetables in large pot. Add salt. Cook until tender. Add white sauce. White Sauce: Melt butter over low heat; add flour, salt and pepper. Stir until blended. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in milk and return to heat. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly until thick and smooth.
