ASPARAGUS CHEESE 
1 can asparagus spears
6 slices stale bread
3 eggs
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. Sharp cheese, grated

Butter dish well. Line with 1/2 the bread. Cover with half of the asparagus and half the grated cheese. Pour half the well beaten egg, milk, salt and mustard over the layer. Repeat and bake at 325 degrees for one hour or until firm.
