CREAM CHEESE JELLO SALAD 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry Jello
1 c. hot water
4 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. cold water
1 c. crushed pineapple, undrained
1 c. crushed nuts

Add hot water to Jello. Add cream cheese and whip while hot. Then add remaining ingredients. Cool and serve.

This is a nice recipe for Christmas or Valentine's Day. The cherry Jello stays pretty red when the cream cheese is added, where some other flavors turn pink. I doubled it, using a 6 oz. package of Jello an 8 oz. package of cream cheese and an entire can of crushed pineapple, with no water. It takes a lot of walnuts to make 2 cups, but it gave it some real body. I will make this again.
