I was out of my usual country gravy packet I use for biscuits and gravy, and tried this instead. It was perfectly smooth and tasty and my family liked it much better than the packet. I can't believe gravy is so easy to make with such simple ingredients.

Just made this for our breakfast supper. I cooked half a package of bacon and with the left over grease added all the ingredients. Very tasty!

I literally just made this gravy and everyone loved it. I'm not very good at making gravy because it always turns out to runny or too thick but this recipe was so easy I made it perfectly the first time. Thanks for the recipe.

The recipe is great! However it turned out lumpy the first time, so the second time I added the milk BEFORE the flour and added the flour SLOWLY and it turned out great! I shortened the recipe to 2 cups however because I like my gravy a little thick :) thank you for posting!

So, I stumbled upon this recipe. Straight into the kitchen I went with high hopes of white gravy being made. OUTSTANDING!!! This recipe is delicious and can be seasoned according to what you will be using it with. I was baking a sage-chicken caserole and wanted a white creamy sauce. I wasn't dissapointed. So simple too!!! Cheers

I have NEVER been able to make white gravy taste remotely good. But then I found this little jewel of a recipe. It was GREAT!!

I used the drippings from the chicken I baked instead of the butter. The drippings had the flavor of the poultry seasonings that were on the chicken, so I only had to add a bit of salt and pepper. Delicious!

This is just a basic white sauce, which can be made much more easily and quickly in the microwave - far less stirring. Look in your microwave book. It is very good, and gets even better with the addition of cooked, crumbled pork sausage - which can also be done in the microwave.

This is the easiest and creamiest white gravy recipe I have ever made! I like the fact that I can remember the ingredients. I use it over biscuits, but will also start using it over my cubed steak and cubed pork. Much cheaper than buying packets.
