I don't usually call food beautiful, because that's a little strange. But this was a beautiful recipe. The milk I used, raw and fresh, gave it a perfect sweetness, and if you use raw butter (I didn't, but I should have) the only thing to feel guilty about would be the flour!!! Delicious recipe.

Woohoo!!! I have always only made gravy after frying chicken or round steak. I needed one to put with my pork chops tonight. This was the first on the list, looked good, is super easy and awesome. THANKS!

It was great. Takes quite a bit of salt. You won't ever go back to the package type. We added sausage crumbles to ours too. We also used un-salted butter.

This is a great recipe, it's the same one my mother used when I was small and now 67 years old. She also mixed chipped beef in the gravy and served it over toast. It was quite a treat and very inexpensive. Chipped beef was like three for a dollar at that time. Amazing, isn't it?
