EASY WHITE GRAVY 
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
8 tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. garlic salt (if using regular salt, 1 1/2 tsp. or to taste)
1 1/2 tsp. pepper (or to taste)
2 cups whole milk
1 cup 2% milk

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. With a whisk, slowly blend in flour, salt and pepper. Cook until smooth and when it starts bubbling, stir in milk. Turn up heat to medium and bring mix to boiling, stirring constantly. Keep stirring until boiling - about a 1 minute.

Makes enough gravy for 6 to 8 servings.
