PARTY POPPY CHEESE LOAF 
3 3/4 c. biscuit mix
1 c. shredded sharp cheese
1 tbsp. poppy seed
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. poppy seed for top
1 tbsp. instant onion
1 egg
1 1/2 c. milk

Stir together biscuit mix, cheese, poppy seed, onion, garlic salt, egg and milk until all biscuit mix is dampened. Beat vigorously by hand 1 minute or 150 strokes. Pour into well-greased loaf pan. Spread evenly. Sprinkle poppy seed over top. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees. Turn out on cooling rack immediately. Serve hot or cold. Makes 8-12 slices or about 4 dozen hors d'oeuvres. Cut in squares or sticks.
