CHOCOLATE DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 sq. melted chocolate
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 to 1 c. nuts (optional; pecans are best)

Cream butter and sugar. Add chocolate and well beaten eggs. Alternate the mixture with milk and dry ingredients. Drop from spoon on greased baking sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 8 to 12 minutes. When cool, ice with favorite butter icing.

Favorite Butter Icing:

2 tbsp. butter, melted
powdered sugar
milk or cream
1/2 to 1 tsp. vanilla

Melt the butter in a pan. Pour in as much powdered sugar as you want. Add small amount of milk or cream for desired consistency and vanilla. Beat well until smooth.
