2 c. sugar
2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. cooking oil
4 eggs
2 c. packed pumpkin

Sift together sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon and baking powder. In large mixing bowl dissolve soda, oil and eggs; beat well. Add sifted ingredients and pumpkin. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

ICING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 box confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix and beat with mixer.
