HOG MAW 
1 pig stomach
2 lb. smoked sausage (loose)
3 c. boiled potatoes, diced
3 c. diced apples
1 sm. head of cabbage, chopped
2 1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 med. onion, chopped
2 c. chopped celery & parsley
Salt & pepper

Combine all ingredients well. Stuff the stomach with mixture. Sew up the opening. Bake at 350 degrees in baking pan with water in bottom to keep from sticking. Bake about 1 hour.

Thanks for the recipe for hog maw with bread crumbs. My mom always made this with potatoes, sausage, and bread cubes (as in stuffing) so I was delighted to find a recipe that included bread as an ingredient. This is my first try at making hog maw on my own, and I am kicking myself for not having watched or even asked about how to make it when I was growing up. Anyway, it smells good so far, we'll see how it tastes.
