EGG SALAD MOLD | |
This is a very popular recipe with the Pressman clan whenever they have a large crowd. My Mother-in-law handed it down to me. 12 eggs, hard boiled 1 green pepper 2 pimentos 1 tiny onion 2 heaping tsp. Indian relish (dry) 15 sm. stuffed olives 1 c. mayonnaise 1 pkg. Knox gelatin Chop above ingredients very fine. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Dissolve gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water. Add 1/4 cup hot water, add to salad. Add 1 cup mayonnaise, mix into chopped salad. Grease mold with mayonnaise and sprinkle with garlic salt. Refrigerate to set overnight. When unmolded, garnish top with Red Caviar. |
