BROCCOLI, BACON, AND MUSHROOM
SALAD
 
2 c. sour cream
1 med. garlic clove, crushed fine
3 tbsp. lemon juice
Dash of Tabasco sauce
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix with whisk; put in tight jar overnight. 1 bunch broccoli; cut into flowerettes and drop in boiling water 1 minute, then in cold water until completely cold. Drain. Clean and slice 1 cup mushrooms. Fry 4 strips bacon until crisp. Drain. Mix broccoli, mushrooms, and grate 1 small carrot for color. Top with broken bacon chips. Add dressing.
