HUNGARIAN GOULASH | |
1 lb. beef stew meat 2 med. onions, chopped 2 tbsp. brown sugar 3/4 tsp. vinegar 6 tbsp. catsup 2 c. water 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. paprika 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 bouillon cubes - beef Brown meat, add onions, mustard, paprika, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, catsup, bouillon cubes and water. Cover and cook over low heat 2 - 2 1/2 hours. When meat is nice and tender, thicken with 3 tablespoons flour and 2 tablespoons water mixed well. Serve over hot noodles. You can use a slow cooker for this, too. |
