JIM'S GOOD BEEF (SPICY GOULASH) | |
1-2 lb. stew meat, cut into half inch cubes 2 med. onion, chopped 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 2 1/2 tsp. paprika 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. honey 2 cubes beef bouillon 3-6 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 1/2 tsp. cider vinegar 3/4 c. ketchup 3/4 c. water Brown meat thoroughly in large skillet, add onion and cook until onion is transparent. In 2 quart Pyrex dish, combine mustard, paprika, brown sugar, honey, bouillon, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, ketchup and water. Add meat/onion mixture; stir well. Cover and cook in 250 degree oven for 2 1/2 - 3 hours, stirring occasionally until very tender. Serve over noodles. |
