HOT FUDGE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour (self-rising)
1 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

In a mixing bowl mix flour and sugar; set aside. Combine water, oil, butter and cocoa in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat; stir well. Pour into flour mixture. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla; mix well. Bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes in a well-greased 13x9x2-inch pan.

HOT FUDGE FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter; add milk and cocoa; stir well. Add powdered sugar and mix well. Pour on hot cake.
