FREEZER FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
1 c. melted butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 c. each candied cherries and pineapple
3/4 c. raisins, chopped
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

In mixing bowl cream butter and sugar; beat in egg. Add flour and cream of tartar. Stir in remaining ingredients. Divide dough in half. Roll each into a log about 2 inches. Wrap in waxed paper; freeze firm. To bake, slice cookies 1/4-inch thick. Bake on greased baking sheet in 375 degree oven 12-14 minutes.
