CHEESE BISCUITS 
Cut 1/4 cup butter with 2 cups self-rising flour until coarse.

Add:

1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

425 degrees, 12-15 minutes or until peaks are browning. 1 1/2 dozen small biscuits.

1 cup milk with 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice mixed together can substitute for buttermilk. Let mixture sit for 30 minutes before adding.
