KENTUCKY HIGH DAY PIE | |
1 c. sugar 1/4 c. cornstarch 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 c. butter, melted 1/4 c. Kentucky bourbon 1 c. chopped pecans 6 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips 1 (9") pie shell, unbaked Blend sugar and cornstarch and whisk into eggs. Add melted butter and bourbon slowly, whisk after each addition. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into unbaked crust. Bake approximately 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve plain or top with whipped cream. |
