BROCCOLI SALAD 
1 lb Bacon
1 head broccoli
1 med white onion (chopped)
1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

DRESSING:

1 cup Miracle Whip (NOT mayo)
4 tablespoons white vinegar
1/2 cup white sugar

Fry bacon until very crispy. Drain on paper towel lined plate to cool. Make the dressing first. Whisk the vinegar and sugar in a bowl until sugar is dissolved.

It takes a loy of whisking, but make sure it is not grainy. When smooth, add in Miracle Whip and stir. Set aside.

Rinse broccoli and tear into small flowerets and put into medium sized bowl. Add the chopped onion and cheese. Pour dressing into bowl and stir until mixed. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
