TOMATOES PROVENCAL 
6 tomatoes
1 to 2 cloves mashed garlic
3 tbsp. minced shallots
5 tbsp. minced fresh basil or parsley
1/8 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. salt
Pepper (a pinch)
1/4 c. olive oil
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs

Remove the stems and cut the tomatoes in half crosswise. Squeeze out seeds and juice. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Blend rest of ingredients and press mixture on top of tomatoes. Place in an oiled shallow pan. Can be made in advance to this point. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees until tomatoes are tender.
