CHOCOLATE VELVET CREAM PIE | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1/2 c. sugar, divided 1 tsp. vanilla 2 egg yolks 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, melted 2 egg whites 1 c. heavy cream, whipped 3/4 c. chopped pecans Whipped cream (garnish) Combine the cream cheese with 1/4 cups sugar and vanilla, mixing until well blended. Melt chocolate pieces; stir melted chocolate and beaten egg yolks into cheese, sugar mixture. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form; gradually beat in 1/4 cup sugar and fold in chocolate mixture. Fold in whipped cream and pecans. Pour into crumb crust. Makes 8-10 servings. Delicious. |
