1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. peanut butter 1 egg 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1 1/3 c. all purpose flour Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, combine ingredients, adding in the order listed. Drop by teaspoonful onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes (depending upon size of cookies). | |

Really really yummy cookies, popular with the roomies. These were picturesque, traditional p. b. cookies. I added a giant smear of extra peanut butter with no negative consequences. Yielded a full tray of big fluffy cookies (like 20?) Would make again!

You may want to double the recipe if you have kids as these will go fast!
Excellent peanut butter cookies. This is the only recipe I use anymore it is so easy and the cookies are the best. I add a scant 1/2 cup of milk chocolate chips to mine and they are even better. Next time I am going add rolled oats and perhaps a little more peanut butter to see how that tastes.
