CHOCOLATE VELVET CHEESE PIE | |
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, room temperature 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 egg yolks, beaten 2 egg whites 1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi sweet chocolate morsels 1/4 c. sugar 1 c. heavy cream, whipped 1/2 c. chopped pecans 9 inch graham cracker crust Combine cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, vanilla and blend thoroughly. Stir in 2 beaten egg yolks. In top of double boiler, melt chocolate over hot, not boiling water. Add melted chocolate to cream cheese mixture. Beat egg whites until foamy. Add 1/4 cup sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. fold into chocolate mixture. Fold whipped cream into. |
